Are you sometimes confused by the terms you read in real estate ads and listings?  It's okay, you're among friends here.  You can admit it.  I will attempt to clarify many of the common real estate terms used specifically in the Niagara marketplace.  Today, we will examine detached and semi-detached, as well as condominium and freehold.

When the word "bungalow" is used in Niagara, it has a much different meaning than when it is used in California, the Southern United States, or elsewhere around the world.  Let's examine this terminology, and see what is the difference between a bungalow style home, and a ranch style home.
